By taking COM 210 this semester, I have been able to reach many of my personal writing goals. One of these goals has been to work better with AP Style. It is still hard for me, but I am beginning to get a hang of using "Fla." instead of "FL."

Learning how to write effective Press Releases and Broadcast pieces have been especially helpful. I am an intern, and I write press releases all the time for our company's events and parties. It is helpful to have a guideline for public relations writing for me to refer to. I am saving my notes for future references!
